OUR STORY
How it all started…
A place that is all about enjoying. A place where everyone is welcome and can spend time with their loved ones – that was and is the inspiration for our genuine heart project: NIU Asian Café.
The name comes from a combination of our two first names: NICI and TU.
We both have always shared a love for sweets and reduced-sugar, Asian treats and drinks. So we experimented many hours in our tiny kitchen to find the best recipes for crêpe cakes and several other delicious creations.
We are also inspired by the coffee culture of England and Asia. What many of you probably do not know: Vietnam is the second largest coffee producing country in the world after Brazil! Since we also have a close connection with Vietnamese Culture, we only serve exclusively Vietnamese coffee beans for all our coffee specialties.
After a year of preparations, we could proudly celebrate the opening of our “baby”:
On Jan. 26, 2019, NIU ASIAN CAFÉ in downtown Nuremberg was born.

The Original Asian Café Pioneers – since 2019
Since 2019, we have been the pioneers of the Asian café scene. We are your place to be for Asian-inspired drinks & desserts – and what many don’t know: with the largest selection in all of Germany. Everything we do is shaped by a love for detail you can see, taste, and feel – far away from the ordinary.
And anyone who has already visited us knows: there’s more to us than just a piece of cake or a drink.
Our mission is clear: exceptional quality, true craftsmanship, and an atmosphere where you can feel completely at home. Baked fresh every day, without ready-made mixes, without frozen cakes, and without artificial additives like those from the industry.
From our innovative coffee creations such as the Rainbow Coffee, to creative homemade iced teas, handcrafted milkshakes, and ceremonial grade matcha drinks from Uji-Kyoto – we are always evolving: developing, refining, and creating new ideas to keep our style truly unique.
What Drives Us
We want to create a place where you can come together with your favorite people, relax, and savor the moment. A little escape from everyday life that feels good – for body, soul, and community. A place where you can simply let go and leave with a smile.

Our products are made fresh every morning – right on site, lovingly handcrafted in our own bakery.
Completely without ready-made mixes, but with carefully selected ingredients, our own homemade pastes, and reduced-sugar recipes.
